Re: ERA Bonnet badges

From what I understand, earlier RJ version uses bonnet badge with "turbo" logo, and later version uses "Rover" logo badge. A friend of mine also imported an earlier edition Japan version, besides the bonnet badge, his rpm gauge has no yellow / red lines.

Re: Found my ERA (

Dear Paul, I took apart the fuel gauge and clean it myself. Taking it apart is relatively easy as long as the tool is correct. With the black rim off, everything is pretty straight forward. Just make sure the small parts are not flying away. When I cleaned mine, I broke the green bulb diffuser. Used...

My ERA update

Finally took the time to install the aluminium badge at the boot!! The boot lid has curvy surface. Need to bend the badge a little but to fit the contour. Sharing here some photo. http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d84/thomas_hmlo/9FAA9518-035D-4F4E-9549-94C61D7A7293.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/al...

Re: close encounter with a goose

A big damage to the front screen. I am sure that was quite scary when seeing the goose smashed the front screen while driving.

Nice customization of your car. Electric windows, and the seats too!!!

Re: Found my ERA (

The hole in the carb I blocked is at the top of the photo. When I blow air to the middle hole - where the carb needle is located using a silicon tube, gasoline came out from the hole at the top of the photo. My mechanic told me to block it off first to avoid flooding the carb. He experienced before ...

Re: Found my ERA (

Sorry for no update for a while. Couple of updates to share. a. My turbo carb has air leak and running super rich. Ordered a back up carb from AVR and waiting for delivery since end of January 2014. While performed a quick fix by blocking up the hole in the carb (5 o'clock) position, I noticed the c...

Sharing here my original steering wheel badge vs the replica one from sticky fingers.
Not 100% identical but it is good enough for me.

ERA boot badge

http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/251451039878 The auction was ended earlier today and the final wining bid is over 90 pounds. Keep an eye on your badges and they are quite worthy lol. There are several items listed and the green wallet was also ended up over 90 pounds. http://bit.ly/1guxfBL The pin badge was...

Re: Found my ERA (

Sharing some update of my car. The turbo no boost problem seems to be sorted. It was the manifold stud loose. Changed the manifold gasket and now seems OK. Of course I cannot compare because there is no other ERA I can compare with. But now there is no more air leaking sound. Quite a lot of area to ...
