My ERA 1067
Hiya, Just thought I would put some pics up of my ERA. Its a UK spec ERA that was exported to Japan from new. It was imported back to the UK in 2004. I have owned the car for two months and am very pleased with the general condition. The Japaneese climate has really preserved the bits that usually g...

Re: ERA help needed for a newbie
To be honest all the missing bits are reasonably easy to get hold of. The main bits like the seats, grille, dash, bodykit etc are there. It might be worth a punt if it's cheap but the bidding already looks strong.

Re: F70BVP For Sale
I e-mailed the seller on pistonheads and this is the responce I got. > Hiya, > > I notice this is the mini that was for sale by GC Motors for a long time. I made them a good offer on the car back in November but they were not interested and wanted full asking price. Im just curious as to why the car...

Re: ERA help needed for a newbie
Im sure Paul will be along soon who can probably tell you alot more about the car as he specialises in importing rare mini's including ERA's from Japan but for the time being I will try and help. The car has been resprayed as no ERA's were ever made in Taihiti blue. From the pictures I notice, the o...

The engine in an ERA is a standard metro turbo engine so yes any engine parts for the metro turbo will fit and ERA just fine.

Re: BAC M30 Mini raffle
A 1 in 8000 chance for £2.50 cant be bad so I bought a couple of tickets. I have to agree im glad the ERA made it into production rather than the M30, it's turly ugly inside and out.

Re: BRG Paint Supplier?
Halfords had the correct BRG when I went in. There only seemed to be the choise of BRG Pearl which was for 1997 on minis or BRG Metalic. Seems to colour match fine with my car.

F70BVP For Sale
Hiya, I notice F70 BVP is for sale again very quickly after having been sold by GC Motors who had the car for ten years. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/834267.htm Seems a bit odd to be back up for sale again so quickly. It does however look like its had a good clean compared to when I saw it in No...
