Just a word of warning. I rebuilt my carb with a genuine SU rebuild kit and after the rebuild had problems with the float valve sticking when the engine was hot. The float valve in the kit had a rubber tip whereas the old valve was just brass. I refitted the old valve and have never had the problem ...

I'm up for the Mini / VW show at Cornbury park and will also be doing MITP.

I was also asked about Beaulieu but I'm on holiday so can't go.

Wow it was in Germany at the IMM in May last year! It's done a bit of travelling since then.

I put my ERA in the show and shine at Brooklands last year and one of the judges said it had a nice aftermarket bodykit :evil: Luckily the other judges were a bit better educated in mini's and he looked a bit of an idiot :oops: Unfortunately I'm working this year but it would be nice to get a stand ...

I will be going to the Mini / VW show at Cornbury park, it would be nice to have a stand there.
