I guess it wouldnt take too much work to modify it to a 4 or 5 piece kit etc if needed.

Re: ARdiator Bracket
I made mine starting with a 1275GT top bracket and added the bends & extra holes. I'm sure that is what ERA would have done too

Re: ERA Mini Genuine Trackstar Compomotive alloy wheels 13"
Sorry for the late reply, but i think the rings are spacers to get the centre caps to the correct depth.
I have an ERA wheel in my shed that has a deep recess and my thin caps sit in the wheel by about 6-7mm

Re: Restoration era 1097
That is excellent news. I bet the next week of waiting is going to be hard until it's MOT.
It will be worth the wait though.

Excellent news.
Great to hear that my advice was useful and it's now running as it should.
I bet you will be itching to go for a drive in it very soon

Re: Restoration era 1097
I had similar problems with my engine with it stalling when boost starts. I think I mentioned it in one of my other threads but I think it was the anti run on valve on top of the servo (I changed so many things to sort it). Just as a trial, pull the rubber pipe off (off the steel pipe on the clutch ...

Looking really good.
The front wheel looks almost chrome. I guess its the reflection from the galvanised trailer.

A Mini that flew through its MOT - never heard of one of them.... Of all the Mini's i've owned over the years I am not sure that i have ever had one go through an MOT unscathed. Anyone ever had any experience of getting alloy wheels refurbed as I am thinking of getting mine done as a treat - they h...
