Get a lo guage, used to test vacuum and low pressure systems, this should come with a T piece, and T it in to the fuel line, just before the carburettor, you may need a short length of fuel hose to do this, then connect up so the gauge come out of the bonnet vent and tuck it under the wiper and take...

hi

Whats it out of assume another Rover maybe allegro marina SD1 of the same period.. anyone know. had a look at fische and it only has the panel..and the switches in the panel not the aux spots one in console.

the Red light? the one with EXH on it between the two main guages, this is the exhaust overheat light, come on when the catalytic converter in the exhaust is too hot. Generally this is mixture being wrong, check all vacuum pipe connections, as these are prone to cracking through being brittle especi...

Top guy, he is doing replica moulded grill badges soon, he has my spare to have digitised and then a mould cut on CNC. Can't spell replica though... ;)

it was put on carb cars with cats in Japan in case of causing a fire parking on grass in summer, due to hot cat setting forrest fires.
