Re: Speedo Cable
Hi
Looking on Micro Fiche looks like ERA modified part, part number is ERA1302 by looks of things.
I imagine its a standard Mini or Metro Cable with a different end on or adapter on it for the ERA Speedo.
Might be able to replace the inner from a standard cable and get yours working again..

Re: my car won't start.
Hi Andrew Try disconnecting the fuel pump temporarily as above, and try starting it, engine will use up any excess petrol even if flooded in a couple of minutes of cranking and then might start, my black one I had to start like that prior to carb rebuild, especially when warm. A new rotor, dizzy cap...

Re: my car won't start.
hi Are the plugs nice and dry? or are they wet like the car has flooded? They need to be dry and not flooded. Check timing order is correct Check you have about 4PSI fuel pressure at the Carb, Gunson Lo guage is great for this. In all the problems I had with My ERA's all were Fuel Related, 1 was a m...

Brakes
Any one noticed what effort your rear brakes put out on a MOT. My Black ERA only put out about 30KG of brake effort before locking up on the rollers, and about 100 with the handbrake. Doesnt seem right that handbrake should have more brake effort. MOT systems passed it though as had locked up. Paul

Black Jap ERA Fixed
Been trying to get the broken long stud from the dog bone engine steady out for the last couple of weeks, it sheared off level with the block. The location is fairly difficulet to access on any ERA but with Air Con even worse. I tried a broken bolt replacement kit, but this looked wrong and looked l...
