Re: Grille and bonnet badge

Before you fit your new grille you will need to obtain from Minispares or similar the standard british grille ends - it might be your car is already fitted with them and you can reuse. The Innocenti Grille uses different grille surrounds. Next you need to look in the MicroFiche under the technical s...

Re: 25th Anniversary 2014

You can put me down for another spot because r1089 just needs painting and putting back together. Also Steve who owns r1090 is definately going to Standford Hall and would like to park with us. So is that 10 so far? I wonder if GC Motors would like to bring their 2 along - oh actually the Ripspeed o...

Re: ERA 1059

It is an interesting question what should the insurance valuation for an ERA be. As you have stated in the event of a total loss you are entitled to receive the retail value of an equivalent car. In the absence of any cars being available they then fall back on open market evidence such as the car t...

Re: No spark?

I had a similar problem on a newly purchased Mini which had been looked at by a garage. They decided that the problem was the positive battery feed which runs the length of the car and terminates on the starter motor. The cable that they fitted was of a heavier gauge and capable of handling higher c...

Re: Auxiliary Radiator Hose

Most of them are special to the ERA and can not easily be replace with straight hose. The one mentioned - the upper hose from the auxillary radiator to the sandwich plate has one bend plus a dogleg The lower hose from the auxillary radiator to the main radiator has one quite tight elbow. The bottom ...

Re: 25th Anniversary 2014

The point made about the entry access is a good one (I broke my body kit at Cornbury!) Uttoxeter being a hard standing and central is a plus. My preference has always been for Standford Hall since the show has plenty of room and a central display area which I am sure they would be happy to give us a...

Re: Radiator Surround Rubber

Thank you for your reply and pictures. I have already ordered from eBay for £19.50 including delivery a piece 3mm thick 1metre x 1.4m. I figured that 1.4m should be long enough to form the square. I was going to put the join at the bottom corner so that it does not show. I have also purchased from e...
