Congratulations! Have you bought your car something nice to celebrate?

The speedo digits have lined up well, on my old Fords it used to take a few miles for all the zeros to get lined up!

I am trying to remember the story about the used car that was purchased as low mileage with 39,000 miles on the clock and at 39,999 miles the speedo changed to 90000! Some one had done a cheap clocking job by painting out part of the leading "8" digit making in into a "3".

No chance of that happening these days with the new MOT certificate showing the last 4 years mileage. I guess yours will look pretty strange since the Tester can only record what he sees on the clock!

It did get a treat, the bucket of soapy water I chucked over it, was warmed slightly :) and you never know, I might even get the vacuum out this weekend but don't hold your breath

It's great to see an era that gets driven a lot. My mini clubman's odometer had gone around 3.5 times before the body disintegrated...
