My mini is RJ1296. I don't know an awful lot about its history other than it was in Japan until February this year. I used to have a mini sprite but was after an ERA as they look so cool. My technical knowledge about them is basic so thanks for your helpful and detailed info about the grille. Am looking forward to learning more about them. Will try upload picture. Nat :-)

It looks in really good condition and you have air conditioning too! Be careful with the bodykit on kerbs and traffic bumps - I think we have all suffered some damage.

I think the bonnet badge may be correct for a jap spec ERA, I do prefer the ERA one which I think you are going to fit.

Did you know that the body kit is 25mm (1 inch wider each side on a Jap Spec ERA? Has it got the correct ERA wheels?

Yes it's really lovely I'm so pleased with it-my dream mini. Just very anxious now about keeping it well preserved and maintained. It has original wheels thankfully. I noticed it is rather wide and low so yes will have to take care. Is your mini green to? Did you have it from new? Tried uploading more photos but says too much data.

I thought I remembered your car - it really is in great condition. Have you moved the boot badge yet? when I saw the car it had obviously been stuck on in Japan by someone who was not familiar with the letters! Somewhere on this site there is quite a discussion about where Jap ERA badges should be!
