Post by an old original » Mon Nov 24, 2014 5:02 pm

Hi all,

I've browsed thru' some posts on here and it seems quite possible but am still a little confuddled about what exactly is required to convert from the standard simplex to a duplex set-up..

goodmorning,
To convert from simplex to duplex you have to modify the timing chain cover.
You have to take out the skirt on the inside of the cover.
And push out the dent.
i hope this will help.

not really necessary, simplex chain has bad press as there are a lot of cheap kits about, a set of gears from a reputable source and an IWIS chain should give no issues and its a hell of a lot lighter.
