Speedometer in Km/h

Post by natalya86 » Wed Jul 08, 2015 6:47 pm

Hi, I was just wondering what other owners of the Japanese model have experienced at MOT with the speedo being in Km/h. I'm a bit worried as RJ1296's is due shortly and I'm wondering if this could be a problem (the dials look more difficult to access than the standard mini if it did need changing to mp/h). Any advice would be appreciated. Many thanks.

I do not think it is a problem your speedo being in kms, it obviously passed last year. To get the speedo out the whole dash has to come out - not done a jap spec with the aircon but it is probably simpler than a modern car!

For advice about converting your speedo speak to speedycables:

Personally I would not bother because it wont be that accurate anyway because of the size of tyres we have to use!
