ERA Fuel Tank

Post by ERA-1027 » Tue Sep 25, 2007 8:13 pm

As the old fuel tank had been sitting for many years with fuel still in it (the previous owners mistake), it has not done it any good.
Iv decided to replace it. I ordered a replacement tank from Minisport but it is missing what seems to be a return pipe which is located at the top of the ERA tank.

Does anyone know of anywhere i could purchase a replacement tank??

Thanks very much, Steven

Hi Steven

i don't know where you can get a new tank from. a lot of people use injection tanks, but this tank is quite different to the original ERA tank.
If your car is off the road for a while, it would probably be worth removing the tank and taking it with the new tank to a car workshop. they should be able to weld in a new pipe using your old one as a tempate. this can be done safely on a new tank as there should be no fuel fumes present.

Hope this helps

Darren :)
