Yes i think so, finally.
going to get it on the rolling road at Aldon (the dissy people) in a few weeks so should be good.
it still smokes a bit on start up and if you leave it tickin over for a while. I think inlet valve stem guids might be bit worn as there is very little on acceleration.
I might see about some new guids and 1.5 roller rockers before the tune though as it is going to cost £40 per hour plus parts. it will save me having to do it again later.
i would like a stage 3 head but i don't think i could stretch to that at the moment.
anyway, thanks for taking an interest. hopefully we will get to meet sometime in the near future.
If everything runs smootly this year i will seriously concider a trip to Ireland next year.
All the best
Darren

Hi Again

I might be interested, depending on price. I want to keep the standard MG style rocker cover though and after looking at several roller tip i am not sure if this will be possible. Do you know if your hit or miss?

Cheers

Darren

Hi again

Photo's might help.
Can you send me one or two in a private message and let me know how much you want for them.
Are they full roller rockers or just roller tips?

Hi there Darren.
We purchased a vent valve from Mini Mine at MITP the year before last. They look like replicas to me, with a very dodgy looking identification plate, but it works fine, Hose comes out at a different angle so ours is mounted verticaly on the offsside engine bay panel. They seemed to have plenty at the time. The original Rover part number is AHU 1103.
Might be worth giving them a bell.
Pete.
