Just wondering if anyone's got any plans for this year?

I might do Bingley on Sunday but it depends on the weather.

I thought about it, but it's already looking dodgy. Might wait for something closer to home

Just worked out that I'm on long weekends off (Sat, Sun & Mon) for both, http://www.bccsl.co.uk/ at Shepton Mallet on 9th & 10 Feb and also http://www.brooklandsmuseum.com/index.p ... mini-day1/ on the 24th March.

I'm thinking I might use the former as a test run for the latter as the wee beastie, although being used daily, hasn't actually left the county for several years and I fear the shock of crossing the bridge might cause it to do the dirty on me!!

We should be at Brooklands again all being well as the hotel is booked and I fancy another blast up the Hill. After that not sure except the Mini show at Beaulieu in the Summer.

I still have good intentions of going to Brooklands, but I'll leave the final decision until a day or two before for two reasons.
1) weather...
and
2) I'm the sort of person that if I ever plan anything too far in advance, it WILL go to s**t

April 13th - Pride of Longbridge
May 12th - British Mini Day (Himley)
June 9th - Beaulieu Mini Cooper Day
July 7th - Gaydon Mini Show

I might be able to do the Longbridge, Gaydon, Zipper Run (never heard of this but if its Chase water Cannock then it's 15mins from me & maybe Minifair 2.

They will all be weather dependent for me though unless we go for an ERA stand then i will be there whatever the weather.

Mine flew through its MOT yesterday, but after doing 201 miles in a year i didn't expect it to fail :) so i'm ok for another year.

A Mini that flew through its MOT - never heard of one of them....

Of all the Mini's i've owned over the years I am not sure that i have ever had one go through an MOT unscathed.

Anyone ever had any experience of getting alloy wheels refurbed as I am thinking of getting mine done as a treat - they have done around 120K so probably deserve it. There are a couple of places in Coventry where we live so may try one of those.

Had mine done about a month ago in St.Austell, £50 a corner, quite a reasonable job.
